Entry Fee Includes:

Filleting of your catch by Kai Ika Projects, with all fish heads and frames donated to help feed our communities. Bring your own container for your fillets or one can be purchased for $8.
A meal of 150-200g of your caught fish, either battered or grilled, served with a salad bar, bread roll, and fries or potato bake. If you don't catch any fish, the kitchen will have battered hoki available for purchase.

Competition Details:

Fishing starts at 6:00 AM, with no area restrictions.
All fish must be registered either by photo (for catch & release) or in person at North Shore Rugby Club by 3:00 PM to qualify for prizes.
Only one fish per species per person can be registered.

-Snapper 1st Daiwa free swimmer combo(value$400) – line and tackle($100)

-Snapper 2nd Selection of tackle (topcatch to donate value $100)

-Snapper 3rd $50 topcatch voucher

Must be over 30cm

- Kahawai 1st Softbait combo (value $300)– line and tackle

Average length snapper: slowjig combo (value $300) – tackle selection(Value $75)

Done by taking all fish measured and and average length worked out & you must attend prize giving to be eligible for prizes.

Additional Activities:

Families of the entrants are welcome to join us at the Rugby Club for the prize giving and an early dinner.
